Foreigner is a British-American rock band, originally formed in New York City in 1976 by veteran English musician Mick Jones and fellow Briton Ian McDonald (former member of English rock band King Crimson) along with American vocalist Lou Gramm. The band’s been through many line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Mick Jones (lead guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, and vocals), Thom Gimbel (rhythm guitar, saxophone, flute, keyboards, and vocals), Jeff Pilson (bass guitar, vocals), Kelly Hansen (lead vocals, percussion), Michael Bluestein (keyboards, vocals), and Chris Frazier (drums, percussion). Jason John Bonham was born in 1966 and is son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer, the late Jon Bonham. Jason followed in his father’s footsteps and began playing drums when he was just 4 years old and joined his first band at 17. After his father’s passing in 1980, he played with Led Zeppelin on various occasions and in 2010, he formed Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience to pay homage to his father’s band. Cheap Trick, a hard rock outfit from Illinois, was formed in 1973 and are ranked No. 25 on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
